Korean Clients Evaluate KNOKOO Fume Extractors for Distribution

Korean Clients Evaluate KNOKOO Fume Extractors for Distribution

2026-03-31

Market Background

In recent years, South Koreas electronics manufacturing and precision assembly sectors have placed increasing emphasis on workplace air quality and operator safety. Processes such as soldering, PCB repair, and light welding generate fine particulate fumes and volatile gases, which require localized extraction solutions rather than general ventilation. As a result, compact and modular fume extraction systems have become a key procurement category for distributors targeting small to mid-sized workshops.

Customer & Application Scenario

Yesterday, three clients from South Korea visited our facility with the intention of becoming an authorized distributor of the KNOKOO brand in the Korean market. Their focus was on introducing a tiered product lineup to address different end-user needs, specifically targeting:

l Electronics repair shops and PCB maintenance stations

l Small-scale manufacturing workshops

l Multi-operator soldering environments

The clients showed particular interest in three models: FES150S, FES150, and FES200, aiming to cover entry-level, standard, and higher-load applications within a unified product portfolio.

Our Solution

To support their distribution strategy, we provided a structured product positioning approach based on technical specifications and real working conditions:

FES150S Compact Desktop Extraction

l Airflow: 200 m³/h

l Power: 100W

l Filtration: Pre-filter + HEPA + activated carbon

This model is suitable for light-duty applications such as individual soldering stations or repair benches, where space is limited and portability is required.

FES150 Standard Workstation Solution

l Airflow: 258 m³/h

l Filtration efficiency: 99.97% @ 0.3μm

l 3-stage replaceable filter system

Designed for continuous operation in small workshops, this model balances airflow stability and filtration precision, making it suitable for daily production environments.

FES200 High Airflow & Multi-Station Support

l Airflow: 310 m³/h

l Noise level: <50 dB

l Optional dual-arm configuration (for multi-operator use)

This model addresses higher fume volumes or multiple workstations, providing increased airflow capacity and consistent performance under extended operating hours.

Customer Feedback

During the on-site demonstration, the clients evaluated airflow performance and filtration structure across the three models. They noted that the step-up airflow design (200 258 310 m³/h) provides a clear selection logic for different customer segments.

In addition, the multi-layer filtration system and independent filter replacement design were considered practical for long-term distribution, as they align with end-user concerns regarding maintenance cost and operational continuity.

Conclusion

This visit confirmed that a tiered product strategy supported by parameter-based positioning is essential for entering the Korean market. By aligning airflow capacity, filtration efficiency, and application scenarios, the FES150S, FES150, and FES200 models form a coherent solution set for distributors targeting diverse industrial environments.

Final Remarks

The clients expressed strong interest in moving forward with distribution discussions, particularly due to the clarity of product differentiation and the technical transparency of key specifications. This case highlights how data-driven product positioningrather than generalized claimscan support both market entry and long-term channel development in the B2B fume extraction industry.
